It felt wrong to click the like button, but see it as a moral support. I'm very sorry for your and your communities' loss. The worst nightmare. Very courage to write your story here and I hope in time things will return to normal or at least as good as can be. Be safe and be strong.

I would like to help. Does the money from your ebooks come fairly quickly? That seems like the best way for photographers to contribute. And, of course, in the longer term, watch your two classes on KelbyOne. Although that money doesn't come but once a quarter.

I’m having such a hard time getting my mind around all this. I live about 10 minutes to the east of you in Monrovia and the loss is incredible. I’m so sorry what you and several of my close friends are all facing right now. What you said was so true, “until it wasn’t.” I think is how you said it. We were told we were going to have to evacuate so we packed up but never had to. That was a thought that had never crossed my mind. Praying for all of you as this feels overwhelming.

Martin and I are so sorry. This has made me think about what is precious and what we would grab in the event of a dire emergency and I find my mind just freezes at the prospect. And we just experienced a small 3.7 earthquake just kilometers offshore west of us. Nowhere seems completely safe. Please let us know how we can help. We’re here in any way we can to support you. Patti

There are no words in the English language that encompasses this California devastation. Your most eloquent writing is beautiful! I will return to read them over and over! People need to read and absorb your words below. Sending healing energy ❤️‍🩹 as you and your family navigate the unknown.

“The success of our lives can be seen in the compassion we receive from friends, families, neighbors, and fans. Their love and eagerness to help us are proof of the kind of life we created for ourselves. The phone calls and messages are confirmation of a life that’s been well-lived.”

That sums it all up! ☝🏼 Imagine if we all lived our lives according to those words!
